The day started with a sporty 15-20kts from the west in flat water with great racing. The gusts steadily increased until the signal boat clocked a 32 kt puff and the race committee sent the fleet in for a quick lunch and on-land rotation. Racing resumed in the safety of the harbor for 5A and 6A before racing was called for the day at 14:31.
Looking forward to having all teams back tomorrow for another great day of racing!
Race Committee started the day with races 5B and 6B to round out the set from yesterday, and was able to complete those races in 15 - 22kts from the West. As the gusts started to increase, the course was moved closer to shore to provide more break from the big gusts and prioritize safety. Race 7A and 7B was then held closer to shore, after which the gusts became to strong to continue racing. With storm cells approaching, the OA opted to end racing for the day rather than attempt to race in the harbor.
Thank you to our PRO Jenn Dorsch, Chief Judge George Dorsch, all our incredible volunteers and staff, and all the teams for making this a great event! Congratulations to all the teams who qualified, good luck in Minnesota in May.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
