Six mixed teams with sailors from Columbus, Cleveland, Vermillion, and the Sandusky area competed. The wind was variable with puffs in the twenties and just as many lulls. The wind direction was generally SW with big shifts. A complete rotation was achieved early on and the teams stayed on the water for an extra set.
