Beautiful day of racing out of Wilmette Harbor today with blue skies and summer weather! Conditions were shifty throughout the day with light breeze at 4-5kt from the west building to 8-10kt with gusts to 12kt by the end of racing around 1:30. A total of 9 races were completed in both fleets. Thank you to our PRO Wes Madara in running today's event as well as Wang Lee, Dru and Grayson Phebus, and Andy Olson for their assistance on RC and markset. Thank you to the team at the Wilmette Harbor Club, attending coaches, and all the sailors and parents.
Congratulations to the Illinois State Champions, Loyola Academy Ramblers, and to Latin School of Chicago on their 2nd place finish and Walter Payton College Prep on taking 3rd place. Thanks all for coming out!
