Saturday started slowly with lite southerly winds and sunshine that helped a nice lake breeze fill in. We were able to complete the full 1st stage round robin of 36 races before the end of the day.
Early morning northerly winds filled in and RC got out early to make sure we could start on time. With the sun shining again but colder temperatures we were able to get 2 Round Robins in for Gold Fleet and 1 Round Robin for Silver to be able to call it a day with plenty of time for teams to relax back ashore before traveling home. Thank you again to all the competitors and coaches for coming to Chicago Yacht Club for this regatta and of course all the RC and Umpires who volunteered their weekend to run great racing!
