AP to start the day, until the breeze filled lightly around 1:30pm. The race committee set windward leeward with with an offset at the windward mark and a gat with a Hollywood finish. Conditions were light and shifty from 250 to 280 degrees. The 3rd and 4th races saw building breeze 8 to 12 kts and challenging shifty conditions for both fleets.
Sunday morning arrived with good breeze that enabled the race committee to leave the dock on time at 10am. A race course identical to Saturday slightly shifted to the new breeze direction of 220 degrees. The breeze built through out the day from 10kts with occasional puffs reaching 20kts. The shifts continued much like Saturday. Breeze management was required by all the sailors in challenging heavy wind flat water conditions. The race committee did an outstanding job completing 5 races in short order while adjusting the course to shifting wind with minimal delay to racing.
