Olympia Trick or Treat Team Race

At this year’s Trick or Treat Team Race Regatta, 15 teams competed in a split division format, with 6 teams competing in the ‘Pumpkins!’ division and 9 teams in the ‘Bats!’ division. After a short delay, racing began at ~1130 in a 8-10 mph NE breeze under blue bird skies. Although the wind oscillated wildly at times with 15mph gusts, 53 races were completed before 1700. All of the Pumpkin races were completed.

Glassy conditions and clear skies greeted sailors Sunday morning. By 1200 a light N breeze had filled in and RC completed the Bats division by 1400. Some of the best racing of the weekend came during 6 Pumpkin races that were competed of the second round, but ultimately not enough races were completed to finish the round by the deadline. This final scores for the Pumpkins Division reflected the results from the round robin completed Saturday.
