Ten schools from all across the country gathered for the 4th annual Girls Catholic Schools Regatta. On Friday Night, everyone met on Ursuline Academy's campus for a crawfish boil and team building. Saturday morning was pleasant with sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s. Wind was light and shifty, generally out of the north. After racing, all teams enjoyed a Mardi Gras Parade with chili and hot dogs.
With another beautiful day, the teams met outside on the lakefront for a Catholic Mass. Immediately after Mass, the sailors rigged boats for more racing. Wind started out of the South at about 8mph for the first two races of the day, then switched and came out of the North for the remainder of the regatta.
