SAISA North Points 6

Summary

Saturday, February 22:

Saturday morning started a little light but the breeze filled in from the East and was steady all day. Sailing continued into the late afternoon and the wind was dieing so they ended it on an A set leaving the morning on Sunday to hopefully match the amount of races. Current was definitely a factor but a lighter current than normal for Charleston. Wind was better than expected so great sail was had.

Sunday, February 23:

Sunday started with little to no breeze and it was looking like it might be a drifter but RC needed at least the B division to get in 2 races to match with the A Fleet number. Finally the breeze did fill in and it turned into fantastic sailing. There was even an extra set gotten in due to conditions. Hoggard led throughout the event only to get passed in the last set by Academic Magnet. James Island took the 3rd spot.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
