Racing started Saturday, May 17th after a stormy morning at 9:54 am, 9 minutes behind schedule (not the worst given the conditions). SSW winds at 15-24 knots shifted to SW and, eventually, west winds with gusts in excess of 30 knots leading to an abandonment of racing after seven total races(4A and 3B). Races averaged a length of 16 minutes in the W4 format.
All of the competitors did an amazing job battling the conditions and providing assistance to other teams when needed. A big thanks to all teams in attendance, we hope to see you again!
