The day started with the usual wind from the SSE at 15kts, with a forecast to build, and build it did, to the May typical 18-20 kts, gusting 25 kts. Sailors made their way to the starting line in the bay, and the regatta began on time at 1000. Three races were run in these conditions, which were particularly challenging with the occasional sets of 4 ft. steep waves. With the wind holding at 20 kts gusting 28 kts, the race course was moved inside the harbor breakwater for more manageable conditions. Inside the wind averaged 17 kts, but waves were 1 ft. or less. Another race was run, break for lunch on the water, then four more races by 1330. The sailors were enjoying the conditions so the RC added two more races to the planned 8, for a total of 10 races completed by 1430. Everyone was back at the dock by 1450, de-rigged, and had a dip in the club pool to rinse off the salt water. The entire group, parents, and siblings then enjoyed a BBQ rib cookout with all the trimmings at the end of season party. Thank you to all the parents who brought ribs, dogs, side dishes, cookies, and drinks! Special thanks to the PRO and RC for a well run event.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
