After going to a New Orleans Seafood Gumbo dinner and Mardi Gras parade Friday night, all teams met at 8:30, rigged, and headed out for racing Saturday morning. Weather was in the low 60s with an East wind 15-20mph with some higher gusts, overcast skies turned into steady rain. With the weather expected to continue to deteriorate, reduced area mainsails were used and only 3 races completed. All boats were back ashore my 11:00. Teams met again at 3:00 for Beignets at Cafe' Du Monde. At 6:00, all teams met on the campus of Ursuline Academy for dinner and games while the city of New Orleans experienced flash flooding.
The day started with Catholic Mass on the lakefront. After Mass, teams rigged and headed out to the lake. 5 races were completed on Sunday under bright sunshine and a shifty Northwest wind at about 5-10mph. Racing concluded at noon. Congratulations to Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart from Miami on the win.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
