19 Varsity and 14 JV teams launched around 10:45am. The first race began around 11:15am. Conditions had winds out of the SW at 7-15 knots. Tide was coming in for the majority of races. 6 races were completed in each fleet and division before calling it for the day.
We began the morning with puffs of 22-25 knots out of the SW, which kept all fleets ashore until the wind settled down. At 10:30, the wind had dropped and fleets were sent out. 3 races were completed in 10-16 knots for both fleets and divisions. The Varsity fleet attempted one more additional race per division but was sent in when winds peaked back up over the regatta limit.
A total of 9 races were scored, and 4 protest hearings held.
