Sixteen teams representing 12 schools arrived at the Lafayette River to a perfect early fall day with temps in the mid 70's, partly cloudy skies. Morning winds were 12-14 NNE, easing just before midday to 5-10 while clocking slightly to due NE and again building to 10-16mph throughout the afternoon. Gusts were 2-4 mph higher than sustained.
Six races were completed in A division on a W-4 course, but only 5 were able to be completed in B division before the no start after time, so the 6th A division race was deleted. Christchurch School earned ran away with first place with 27 points. Norfolk Academy Team 1 took second place with 45 points and Hampton Roads Academy took third with 53 points.
Greatest thanks to Randy Stokes for coming back to serve as PRO, and to the rest of the race committee.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
