The weather was sunny with a light breeze on Sunday morning, but quickly picked up as sailors got on the water for a 1000 start. Throughout the day the wind was a mostly steady SW direction, 10-15 mph gusting up to 20 by the end of racing. W4 courses were sailed throughout the day.
After a third A fleet race with numerous capsizes and retires, race committee sent A in for rotations to get B fleet out for a third race and ensure a complete regatta before the forecasted building wind gusts. Following similar conditions in B's third race of the day, the decision was made to send sailors in for the day at 1230 to ensure everyone's safety.
Thanks to all for coming out to the event, and to our DC Sail staff and volunteers for their support on and off the water. Congrats to Severn on their victory.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
