Saturday started off with AP up for 1 hour as the breeze was forecasted to fill in around 1100 and 1200. We were able to get the first race of the day off around 1115 with a light Southerly beginning to build. It only continued to build from there, getting up to an average of 8-12 knots for the remainder of the day. We completed Round 1 and the first flight of Round 2.
Sunday began with a very nice 12 knots from the South. We knew the breeze was going to build throughout the day up into the mid 20's with gusts into the high 20's. We were able to complete the Round Robin By 1330. Thanks to our great RC! PRO John White, Megan Kelchner, Zack Kelchner and Craig Cobbum. Our umpire staff of Chief Umpire Gwyinie Dunlevy, Aitana Mendiguran, Caroline Atwood, Marley Mais, and Brad Julian.
Congrats to Severn on winning the MASSA Team Race Championship! 2nd place Christchurch School and 3rd place Christian Brothers.
