ISSA 2025 Atlantic Coast Championship

Summary

Saturday, November 8:

Beautiful day at St. Mary's College of Maryland with 18 teams from around the country for the ACC's. The St. Mary's Seahawks were led by SMC coach and PRO Bradley Adam to run six W-4 races in each division in West/Southwestly ranging from 3-8 knots. Wisely, Coach B-Rad abandoned a few when the breeze didn't cooperate. There was two protests that were resolved with one hearing and one WTD. Both were handled ably by the on the water judges Nelson Pemberton, Dexter Mueller and Chase Cooper.

Sunday, November 9:

E/SE breezes were strong enough to allow a total of 7 additional races on Sunday Despite the odd direction, Coach Bradley Adam and the SMC Seahawks expertly managed to efficiently complete 13 total races in each division utilizing both W-3 and W-4 courses.

We hope all competitors and their families enjoyed the hospitality of MD's Public Honors College and its sailors. We enjoyed having everyone!
