The SEISA Singlehanded Championship was hosted by Bay Access at Lakewood Yacht Club. 10 participants were vying to punch their ticket to Norfolk. The day started with a very light breeze which forced an AP onshore for 45 minutes. When we got to the racecourse the breeze was 5-8kts from the ENE. Direction oscillations were 15-20 minutes long over a total range of 30-40 degrees. A very strange behavior for Galveston Bay. Seven races were completed. Joe Comer from Fairhope, AL lead the day with only 1 point separating first through third.
