On the Lafayette River, with temps reaching almost 80 degrees F, and sunny skies, 16 teams representing 12 schools gathered to compete in fleet racing. Winds were initially SW at 5, shifting to SSW with a short lull, and settling in at 10-12mph due S. Around 1:30, The wind died off during the 5th B race, and the race was discarded. Sailors postponed afloat until 2PM when the event was called. The regatta accomplished 4 each A and B races on a W-4 course.
Maury High School Team 1's 3 bullets in B division supported their first place win with 22 points. They were followed by Christchurch Team 2 finishing in second place with 32 points. Christchurch School Team 1 took third place with 34 points.
Two protests over the same incident were heard resulting in a DSQ for CCS 1.
