The first week of the NJISA Toms River Wednesday Series featured 13 teams from seven schools. It was a perfect September day with sunny skies and breeze out of the south-southeast at 6 to 10 knots. Eight W4 races were completed over the 2.5 hours of sailing.
Southern Regional's first team was the day's winner with CBA 1, Donovan 1, Ranney 1 and Toms River South 1 completing the top five. CBA 1 was the winner in A Division, while Toms River South 1 broke the tiebreaker with Southern 1 in B Division.
