We started the day with overcast skies and a moderate northeasterly which oscillated until noon before swinging about 90 degrees right. The shift was accompanied by sunny skies and a velocity build to the low teens. We were able to get 7 races off over the course of the day. Great work to all the coaches who moved marks and helped keep the course square today. And, many thanks to the Portland parents who provided a great spread for breakfast, lunch, and post-racing snacks!
There was one protest resulting in a DSQ. In race 6, Tabor was awarded average points (2.8 pts rounded to 3 pts) for their redress of an OCS in that race.
