2024 Fall MDISA Keelboat Championship Qualifier hosted by ANNAPOLIS YACHT CLUB:
The MDISA District held a one-day Keelboat Qualifier for the MASSA Championship TBD in 2024. Key School, Annapolis High, Indian Creek, Severna Park and St. Mary's High School (MD) co-hosted the Championship with the Annapolis Yacht Club in their Fleet of Brand-New Sonars. Eight teams from the MDISA District competed for the top 2 qualifying spots. Team weigh in, rigging of the boats, and dock call was approximately around 0900 hours and Harbor Start was around 1015 hours. The first race commenced at 1110 hours. The Race Committee completed 6 races for this year’s Championship. Winds ranged from 10-15 knots in the morning then dropped to 7-9 knots.
