Ten schools met on a beautiful, mild, clear Saturday with excellent visibility. Winds blew out of the Northeast at 8-10 kts, gusting 13-15 at times, but the breeze generally weakened throughout the day. Since the breeze was onshore, seas were flat, and the wind was shifty at times. RC ran 16 races west of Fairhope Yacht Club across two divisions throughout the day. Congratulations to St. Stanislaus, who prevailed in the overall standings, followed by UMS-Wright and St. Patrick Catholic.
"A" Division scores will be used for Great Oaks Qualification. The top five schools in "A" Division were: UMS-Wright, Fairhope High, St. Patrick Catholic, Bayshore Christian, and St. Stanislaus.
Thank you to all schools for coming out to compete, and thank you to the Race Committee, Regatta Staff, Coaches, and Parents for helping to put on another successful event!
